Show Notes

Recorded in the middle of the far right riots across England , myself and Louisa (She Drew the Gun) had a somewhat subdued conversation to the backdrop of the hate ripping through the UK and even suprisingly in her hometown of Liverpool. I made a youtube video with my thoughts about all of that topic here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mg7bF4w6egE&t We address the elephant in the room of course , but despite my thoughts being elsewhere at times I wanted for this conversation to be focussed on the music, which is why Louisa was invited on. We discuss writing, heartbreak, mysticism, weird coincedences, meditation and the album and forthcoming UK tour. SDTG have made some of my favourite records over the years and Louisa is one of the all time great songwriters to emerge from this island that can describe pain, love, politics, frustration and joy like noone else can.
