I mean, I've lived in a lot of different places, so I'm in about 12 different Facebook groups and everybody's complaining about wheelie bins and dog and parking. And it seems like it's, you know, it's international. But what. Why. I didn't go because it's so good and I was a wee guy and I didn't realize that. But it seems like everybody. Do you know? I mean, I don't know if it's a view, but I did go to the Radio 1 roadshow. I did see Manic Street Preachers, Cisco playing the Thong Song and Little Bow Wow playing outside the Magnum as well. A lot of history there. But they had. It was too powerful. They had to knock it down. Then you've got this. We're going to go to the music soon, by the way, guys, it's just that one. What I'm. What I'm aiming for here is for people who have maybe never even been airshow before to maybe just moon it and join us in Friday night and we'll show them Rune. So this is. This was the big idea. And then all happened month later. I think so maybe a year. I think it. I think it failed for a year. And then they just went n. There was rumors that being a. A music venue never happened. You got a big bucket and people just put through the give you donation and it used to be as well there was something about working shout outs to Uncle Big uncle join Rip he he him and his brothers they won it once and they. But I don't think they got the free paint thing. I think. I think what the pubs just sort of went I'm not giving you free pints because you're just covered in grease. You know I think by the time he won it but apparently you're supposed to get free pints anywhere in the tun for the day. [00:16:01] Speaker C: I think they shortened it last year, didn't they something David and Shields this [00:16:07] Speaker B: the short of the pool for the insurance rate. That makes sense because I was wondering how it was still allowed. Shouts to my mate Mark who's just moved to Irvin recently and I told him about Mary Ms. I told him about the greasy pole and he didn't believe me and then when he went he said that the greasy pool was still hanging and that the insurance companies obviously like the spaceball of the 90s they just went it's fine. They've shortened the pole for insurance. [00:16:42] Speaker C: I think there was a last year as well. First time you can shorten [00:16:48] Speaker B: sh A a female. A female female team won the greasy poll. [00:16:52] Speaker C: I don't think they won it but they were on it. [00:16:56] Speaker B: I was going to say iron's moving with the times. You have been busy, you have been in Milport, you have been in Paisley. I'm trying to keep track of what you've been up to. How. How's. How's the summer been for you guys? [00:17:23] Speaker C: I've been everywhere. I've done loads of. We done Paisley Food and Drink Festival and then we went to Light District and done that Standing in the Light at Freedom Festival. Then we went to Bournemouth to do another one and then we're back up and we've done. I. We've done Mo Scooter Alley and then we've done the Mod Night at Paisley. That weekend there, that was a kind of hit and run gig. We just drove up, done the gig and drove straight home. We don't normally do that. It was a good reach. [00:17:56] Speaker B: So Belport, can you explain Melport to people who don't know? I think Melport has been made famous by that limit sketch. [00:18:05] Speaker C: Hi. And he recently done a retourer on his. On his stream and it goes on Google Maps and takes you to another kind of the sight change. [00:18:13] Speaker B: But I seen the one where he was in an airplane flying. I think he crashed. He crashed. Mopo's own virtual 911 happened. [00:18:23] Speaker C: I was watching that. I was actually watching that with my. Two days ago or something. But I was. It's basically the holiday destination for all the folk in Glasgow. You go drive down the logs and the holidays and get the ferry over there. Wee tiny island in Melport. It's about a five minute ferry. I think you could have built a bridge. But they didn't want to lose their island status. [00:18:42] Speaker B: They could use the. They could use that unused Irvin's retractable bridge so far also. So the scooter. Is it so kind of. Is it. Is it. Is it mod? Mod. Mod kind of music? [00:18:56] Speaker C: It's just all the mods and they do a big ride. Then I think all the different pubs they put on kind of Scar bands and things like that and all the kind of jam tribute bands and things like that. Everybody puts on the Mod Clubber. [00:19:10] Speaker B: Have you got. Have you got Mod Clobber? Have you. You got your. You've got your Mod Clubber. [00:19:15] Speaker C: You get. [00:19:19] Speaker B: You get your wheels. [00:19:21] Speaker C: Don't talk to me about scooters, man. It's not a mode of transport, it's just an engineering project on it. I've had three scooters and I think I've had to rebuild the three of them about 10 times. I've just got my scooter broke down for about two months because I was going to take it to the rally and then I just got it working two nights ago. It took me all weekend today and it's back. It's Baka getting traded and Thursday for a new one. [00:19:45] Speaker B: They just. That's a never ending. Never ending hobby. I'm actually reading a book by Steve Mason for the Beta Band and that's about three chapters in. The whole chapter's about him getting his first scooter and driving to these sort of mod festivals and stuff. And he was just talking about how he couldn't get it started but then it would just go. It would. It would go. It would drive to Cornwall where hang the. Could they start? And then it would be fine. But yeah, I'm. I'm enjoying that. It's the. The. The Steve Mason Failure is Always an option book, if any. I'm not finished reading it yet, so. But I would recommend it so far. Be A band's one of my inspirations. What's your inspirations? What. What. What made you guys all get together? What kind of music made you want to say, I want to do that. [00:20:36] Speaker C: I will. Probably got a few gigs. We were younger because 15, 16. It used to be like everybody in the whole year at school would go and see the View. [00:20:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:20:45] Speaker C: I mean everybody would go on the train. Everybody were talking about it and it was cool going any gigs because it was like every day was her age. We're all on cool clays and stuff like that. And then after the View broke up the re. Hiatus, it all kind of all kind of fuzzled it. But I'd say probably my biggest influence. And then obviously all the. All the other bands like Stone Rosies and the who and all that, everybody's favorite bands. And my dad's band, Full Circle. [00:21:11] Speaker B: Oh, great. I didn't even realize that. Full Circle. Brilliant. And. And it's a. So I've played a few gigs with Kale Faulkner as well, but I've never. I've not played. We've played with a few yet. Yeah, but you never know. We played with For Kill Faulkner and. Where were we? Somewhere in the north side of Glasgow. I'll tell you that offline, that story. [00:21:43] Speaker C: But we don't get grimmer on. We kidnapped that Drew. He's guitar player guy. Remember he was just doing all the acoustic gigs. [00:21:51] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:21:52] Speaker C: Is it Drew? I can't remember his second name. [00:21:58] Speaker B: He was playing with Brown Bear for a bit as well. [00:22:00] Speaker C: I I was I done that done the Harbour Arts center over I we kidnapped these I think Kale Faulkner fell asleep early in the hotel. This guitar player came out of your room and we were playing guitar step at seven in the morning and the owner of the hotel told us to shut up about three times then seven in the morning I was playing substitute and the guitar and then he kicked us out and There's a bit 15 years down the streets at half seven [00:22:26] Speaker B: in Greenock in the the main streets of Greenock. Well I we get banned for the Harbour Art center and we played wasn't our fault. Well the first of all there wasn't a rug for the there wasn't a carpet for the drum kit. So start da shows the tragic Haran Colin Hunter. But every time Colin played the drums the drum kit was moving and he's like what we going to do this you know but seriously what we got to do but never was just laughing because Colin Hunter's got some. Some comedy timing and so strategic Harris with Tosh between them they're just like it's funny at that point but what are we going to do because the drum kit's running away. I don't know if we ended up fixing it or not but by the time we were meant to go on stage it delayed everything and then somebody called it and said one of our band members will mention was too drunk to appear on stage. Which was a lot of nonsense man. It was just that we're running out of time and. And then it got a bit dramatic. It got a bit dramatic in the end but I mean we were really young. We were. We were young and also I mean [00:23:39] Speaker C: I don't think stories a lot a couple of gigs a lot. [00:23:43] Speaker B: It's part. It's part and parcel you know I mean at the band Fear so they get banned fiercer and that's how it felt. Every single Airship gig we played felt cursed. It was like we played the the Trin town hall once and every single. All the big bands were playing Friday and Saturday and then they put all the. You know the Kovik played and all that but they were brand new as well. It was just new bands like no one knew and we were on the Sunday and it was like this massive town hall and There was about 10 people there and it was too big like people were too scared to get on the dance floor because it's like you know remember like school the school that the dancing at the school where you've got to pick a partner. It was that level of awkwardness and we did. [00:24:28] Speaker C: We used to do them all Laugh on dens now that playing. I remember I used to see the posters everywhere. [00:24:34] Speaker B: Yeah, Live at Trin I think it was good. I think it's still a hang. I noticed it. I don't know if it's. I don't think it was on this year but I think it was on last year and I think I noticed that Colin Mustard are playing Tun hall in a couple of months and I know that La Fontaine's have split up but shouts to Jamie for laughing. She's got a new band called Glass Checks. Or is it Class Checks? Couldn't tell because of the phone. [00:25:02] Speaker C: But did they play? They played at Press Fest, didn't they? I think they played. [00:25:08] Speaker B: They may. They may well have indeed. He's a sound I know. It's not surprising me at all. I've only had a couple of tunes but everything they does is good. There's no doubt about it. So how was Press Fest? [00:25:21] Speaker C: Oh, it was good. We never paid but the Buff didn't pay off the bands. He caused the shutdown. [00:25:27] Speaker B: So the with the pub shut down [00:25:29] Speaker C: after the hang I I so what they did is they made that the last weekend. So they get bands on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and then I think they closed on a Sunday night but they basically just didn't pay anybody and then they've shut down and moved. Owners, man. Genius business move. To be honest. You wish I'd have seen it coming. [00:25:47] Speaker B: There's a few pubs of changed owners but the same people work there. [00:25:54] Speaker C: Yeah, but I think that's like the fourth time you've played that fourth year on the Awesome. I remember either band were really good because I remember somebody said to me in the crowd, oh, do you know Laugh on Danes? I says. I think that he says that's a singer or that's a guitar player. So we stayed really good. [00:26:09] Speaker B: It was a guitar, he was a guitarist and the singer, he was the rapper. But he did great voice. Did lots of singing parts and then. And drums play anything can play it in that. [00:26:21] Speaker C: Boy, they were good. It was good. It was good. [00:26:24] Speaker B: We played Press Fest the first year I think. I don't think it went well. Like I said, all our circles went quite bad. I think we played with the Fear once in so close and I think that went okay. I think that one went well. I mean I kind of really remember it but Pat assured me that it went well. David J. Blank So while you're doing that, I'm going to play a we tune from Sevka, who's also playing on Friday night. So like you said, you've been a young band and you've. You've made mistakes. So as the rules in place and it's one of those rules you're allowed to Bucky after you've played the show. [00:32:52] Speaker C: I. I don't. We used to have a rule and it was 3.3pints maximum before we play a gig. But that was kind of a very younger knew we can look we can have maybe. I don't know. We've done gags well at Mopo everybody in a three year gig. So you can have a couple of points before it and then you take a break at half time and I mean three year gig you can. You'll end up having like five points or whatever you're playing. But I don't know, you can obviously steaming before you play it. [00:33:20] Speaker B: Three hour gigs. I seen this. I seen you sharing that on Instagram and you went. I mean obviously I couldn't zoom in in it because it was just a we picture. Three hours. Was that like I've done it once. We had to do a three. We had to do it once we were playing up in oh where is it Malik or Malik always said right. And they treated us really well. They put us up in a hotel and all that. But the deal was shouts to Jillian Rip. She. She's booked the gig for us. But the you know the locals were expecting a covers band and we didn't know any covers so we had to. We really had to mix it up. I think we started with a God the acoustic set. Then I think Joe did an acoustic set and then we played every song we knew until the crowd started turning on us and a woman called Sheila's Wheels demanded that we played Bryan Adams. And because Robbie had been in a wedding band he knew it. So I just left the stage and went for a pint and it turned into a bit of karaoke. But we made her three hours but only just. What is your. What's your tactics for a three hour gig? [00:34:40] Speaker C: You cannot do that if you're a three piece. But you know I mean the funny as walks off the stage I was going to be hearing drums. I mean I'll do space. I don't. Well we know loads of covers because we used to do loads of playing me local pubs, David's Day like My Generation and Pinball wizard and all that kind of Sally Cinnamon, Don't Look Back into the sun or they kind of got covers and then we're doing the mod gigs. We learned loads of freaky stuff like Tomorrow Never Knows and things like that. We'll beat those songs and stuff like. And one of our first gigs was at the Keg in Paisley and they always want covers so I don't know we just kind of treated it as like Beetle and Hamburger something. You need to learn loads of covers and get good at playing the pubs and stuff like that. [00:35:20] Speaker B: For people that don't know. Can you explain the Beatles in Hamburg Reference. [00:35:25] Speaker C: Hi. The early days. They just used to. I think they moved to hamburg for about six months and done 12 or 12 hour gigs full of speed. Then loads of covers. [00:35:34] Speaker B: Then they're just accusing you taking speed. It's just tenants Water and Bucky. Okay. After. After. On the completion of the show. The first time I met you guys was. You were supporting Mickey Nines. So that's who I. I first heard the Beaties. I met you at the SWG3. Yeah no it was a. He's absolutely smashed and that's why we got his. We got his back to play for the Gyros last gig at the. At Slay last year as well. But yeah how do you. How do you Know the Mickey names. How did that come about? [00:36:19] Speaker C: Well, we done. We had that. We had like an epic adventure when we release side our blues, right? So we got two gigs in the W. We get Belladrum and Buttefest on the same day. So we drove to Loch Ness and we camped at the night before and then we done Belladrum at the garden stage at 2 o' clock in the afternoon. And then we drove all the way back to Butte. We played that 10 o' clock at night, but it was dead busy. So I reckon Mickey, I think he watched this after it because I was looking about a portal to go for a passion. And the guy, he appeared and I didn't recognize him because he had like Kenny wears a black eyeliner and all that. So he looked like a man mad ghost. And it was the middle of the night, so he's like, all right, mate, what's this? Then he's like, I usually classes. L. Cheers. And then he tell me up who he was and I was all right, I. Cool. And then I. Then I don't know, maybe two weeks later or something, he text us on Instagram and says he was playing SWG3,500 cap. Do you want to support us more? Yes. 100% magic. It was. [00:37:14] Speaker B: It was a magic gig. It was superb. And then actually an for the Mickey 9 she. He turned up to the west because he. I was like, what the are you doing here? Because obviously it's quite unusual to see ants. He's either in the studio or he's on stage. And why you in? So you. You know, you're out of context here. He's like, I'm here because the Fear are the best band in the world ever. And he said it. We. He said it was chest. And then. Then I think the Fear, they were just trying out the way the acoustic stuff, but it went well. So they've. They're bringing the full band back that after 14 years to play. What are they playing? I think it's this WG3. November 27th Friday, November 27th Mickey Nines will support from the Fear full band. So good boys back in. Back in the game. So I'm gonna be there. I'll be. I'll be trying to blog against you for that one. But yeah, I've not been. I've not been. I've not got. There's no Beautiful. But Beautiful is coming back, I believe, right? Seeing that they put up an application thing and because a couple folk were asking me because we played it before and they're like, how can you put a button for us. But I don't know. I mean it was. It's been three years since we played it. [00:38:41] Speaker C: We get organizing that. That's. That's what promoters. Every year. I think. [00:38:48] Speaker B: I think it's. I think there's a change. Does change a bit. A bit transient is my understanding. But I don't know because it's been two years and nothing. Nothing's happened. But yeah, it was great festival. It's such a beautiful part of the world. And then. But we. We played in the. It was my birthday and I've usually got. I don't haggle over money or anything. I've never been one of the guys. I don't give a really. But the. The Friday's important to me. We had to get free these in our contracts because we had a wayward band member who. You couldn't. We couldn't wait till Sunday. But then I realized as everybody started maturing and getting sober I realized that I was the wayward band member and I still didn't want to play Sundays. I just wanted to and a Friday, you know, I mean just fresh. One point before I go on stage, play the gig and then let everyone do their own thing. But we didn't do it this time. My birthday was on a Sunday. And then for some reason I just. I think I just kind of went, oh, that's quite cool playing a gig on your actual birthday. But it wasn't. It wasn't a good idea at all. Friday, Saturday got on it and then Sunday was the biggest rainstorm of all time. It was a pure storm and we. We went. We went off the site and came back on and just everybody leaving. But we played the main stage and it was good but I mean the crowd, most of them had run away and then everyone that was there was just. You know, they were muddy. They didn't like. They weren't the cheeriest crowd we played to. [00:40:21] Speaker C: That was the same year we were there, wasn't it? Because I think. I think it was a Sunday after it was a rainstorm Saturday night, wasn't it? Because I think we tried. The tents had all blown away and [00:40:33] Speaker B: yeah, one of the stages blew away. I think the first half of the. The second stage just get cancelled. So there was some bands then they get to play and stuff. Let's see a four track. Bad Boy then I'll get you in it. First [00:41:02] Speaker C: x 15 pound off eBay. [00:41:05] Speaker B: 15 quid. [00:41:07] Speaker C: I bought it when I was about 14 on eBay. My dad was buying loads of secondhand tools. I was like this is quite good. I ain't even showing me how he was getting things for like two pound. Look. I got this boss pedal for fiver. Things like that. So I was like I'm gonna try that. So I got that. [00:41:24] Speaker B: Do you use it all right. [00:41:26] Speaker C: So I didn't use it for years and years and years and I was always like then I'll get right into trying to loud. And I was thinking about buying pro tools and also making demos. Then I was like I've got to be dafting. I'll just try that and see when you're doing demos. He just then like one vocal and acoustic at the same time on one track. And then drums and our track bass and our track lead guitar and I'll try you get cracking demos just for dinner. Some of the best demos I've ever made. I mean these like 16 track demo machines. But yeah, go daft. [00:41:57] Speaker B: It's not computers these days. [00:41:59] Speaker C: It sounds better. It sound better. [00:42:01] Speaker B: There is definitely a beauty to the analog sound and what. What's. What is working on the new. Have you got. Have you got. What's coming up next? [00:42:15] Speaker C: Well, Coach and then of course that's Friday. All right. No, we're all going to do. You know Jason. Sure. Force Face and Fairly. He's got no. [00:42:30] Speaker B: I know that. I know the name but I do know. I do know. But it's been a long, long time. [00:42:35] Speaker C: He's got a crime studio. He's like in a mad genius. Okay. We recorded my last album and he was like get me recorded backwards guitars and 12 string guitars. Nashville guitars and stuff. And getting all these cool effects and things that you were only getting anywhere else. Everywhere else. It was really just like a live band. Can I. But we're going back to recording EP with him. So I've been demoing loads of songs. I've probably got about 20 songs demoed. But it's just getting the time actually go to studio and actually record them properly. [00:43:06] Speaker B: So can we expect it to be a wee bit mercury reading more into the sort of psychedelics kind of thing Sound right. [00:43:15] Speaker C: Kind of 60s. I don't know. Loads of lazy stuff and who kind of stuff. Well they know those freedom festivals that kind of gets you in the mood for writing songs a bit. Don't know different things about freedom. [00:43:30] Speaker B: And what is freedom to you? [00:43:34] Speaker C: I don't know. I don't know what freedom is to me. Saturday as soon as the work finishes on a Friday [00:43:43] Speaker B: anyway. So freight and Friday is. Is going to be a night of freedom. Bring your own booze Tenor seven sisters so quotes. That was my first ever gag at [00:45:49] Speaker B: the Golabi and that's mad to me because Adam I think I had my first ever curry at the Go up. They've been. They got some. They've gotten some controversy did they? [00:46:00] Speaker C: Well they get shot doing every year. [00:46:07] Speaker B: Well this was vodka apparently. Vodka. No they get. I think they kept the license I'm not sure but they had to go up to. They get summoned to a court to explain why there's their vodka was nice [00:46:21] Speaker C: or something they're all brand new though. I used to that was my first job. I used to do the garden I was out of garden business when I was research and Ronnie and all them. I used to do their mum's garden. Yeah I used to do the grounds of the Goula Clear all the region. [00:46:35] Speaker B: It looks like the, the footage I've seen through the gigs looked mental. [00:46:41] Speaker C: I, I, the early ones were good as well and it work in a different band though I was just guitar and my pal Scott was singing so I was one of the ones. See when you play your first gig when you're 18, what your whole year at school comes and all your friends and distant relatives and mum and dad, I mean so obviously there was probably about 200 folk there. So the other ones are really good. Even, even the recent ones we did a good last one we played was really busy. [00:47:09] Speaker B: I mean actually one of the, the issues I have we, I mean I, I've getting, I've got friends that work with DF&King Touch and stuff. I'm not having a go at them but I remember the first when, when you play King Touch like because of places like you know Airsh or any kind of salad town outside the Glasgow there is something that people that aren't really involved in the music industry thinking because Oasis was signed there. It's such a big deal. Like it's the only time anyone for my school or anything ever went. Well done man. I can't believe you've made it to big time. It's like obviously four bands a day play it every day so it's. No, it's not that crazy get a gig at King Touch but for some reason your, your auntie, your uncle, you made it. [00:47:56] Speaker C: I mean playing like five or side like mad strangers are coming up like yeah, I heard you are playing K Touch man. Congratulations man, well done. As if it's going to be champagne and limousines and jets. I mean we don't really do any DF gigs around so I just look, you need to bring a bus load of 80 your PS to your bunker and then we'll charge you our ticket money and then pay you 20 quid, you know, I mean well I can do that and we can do that in marine pubs and you know what I mean? [00:48:25] Speaker B: Absolutely. And it's, it's also the, the when you get signed up to a, a two month contract as well and it's like you know what do any gigs either side there so then you're just playing the same venue. It's not nothing against King, it's playing the same, you know playing any the same venue three months in a row is always bad because there's going to be a drop off, you're not going to get more People the second time around playing the same place. So it's like. I feel like a lot of people. A lot of bands are probably broke up prematurely just because they're just. They're thought that they were getting shitter and less popular when it's just that, you know, they needed a wee break and you know, freshen up and play somewhere new. [00:49:00] Speaker C: So we used to do Tuesday nights in Edinburgh and things like that just playing random. I used to just play anywhere and everywhere just for a laugh. Sometimes there's plenty three folks. Sometimes there's plenty to do. [00:49:12] Speaker B: The Gulab gigs in 24 were mental. Was that the year the Gulab says. Says Vinnie. I think it's Vinnie. [00:49:23] Speaker C: Vinnie get to the B. Me and him have a promotion company called Live in the Sh. Well it's his promotion company but I helped him with a name and so he used to put on loads of gigs. Was always as in the talks and he used to. I was. It was. I was a girl. It was. I was kind of main gig. I. It was. It's good because like good labs because it's free and it's right next to how long. Obviously everybody comes. Time is really busy. It means my grandpa can come on. [00:49:54] Speaker B: Amazing. Amazing. [00:49:55] Speaker A: And. [00:49:56] Speaker B: And what Is there any other bands in Air? So the new that they. That are worth people checking out and that have maybe no heard there. [00:50:06] Speaker C: Well, I don't. The team we've played at multiple. There's a rebound called the Stoats that came to see us but then they came late so they never actually seen our gig. But they came all the way to see you. So I've never actually listened to our stuff but I don't know. Probably class. [00:50:23] Speaker B: It's a good name. [00:50:25] Speaker C: Ah it's a great name. [00:50:26] Speaker B: And they took it and I love the fact that they took a store all the way to Millport. You see you guys in Mistress. I'm already a fan. I'm a fan of the. I'm a fan of the stories Clays [00:50:36] Speaker C: might be quite good or not. I've not really listened much. The Clays. There's a. As well. Yeah. I think they might be pretty good. [00:50:45] Speaker B: I'm not. I'm not familiar. I'll need to check them out. I suppose the biggest problem has always been that there is. There's a lack of proper venues in Ayrshire as well. I mean there was. There was one in Air that I heard was actually a good venue. But I heard they were maybe struggling [00:51:01] Speaker C: a bit or then you said hey we. We basically Done my apprenticeship there. Like we used to play that every. Every Friday to about 10 folk. Do you know what I mean? And then it was kind of like go used to playing on a stage kind of thing, you know what I mean? [00:51:15] Speaker B: It was kind of how's happen now? [00:51:17] Speaker C: I think it's closed now because it was just. I think. I think all our mates came the first gig and then they went, oh, that's a golf place. And then that was it. Maybe they came after. It was one of the ones good. But it was a massive big nightclub. It was like a cracking venue with a great sound system and all that. But it was just f. Some reason nobody ever came the north. [00:51:37] Speaker B: A definition of goth always cracks me up, man. [00:51:41] Speaker C: Anybody does know where I did this? [00:51:45] Speaker B: The. The one. One. I'm not going to say his name. He's still kicking a ball. But one of my mates, when I was about 16, we brought. I think it was. I was. I brought a girlfriend and she brought a pal. She was. She was definitely goth, right? Yeah, there's. There's no denying that she was goth. [00:52:02] Speaker A: But. [00:52:02] Speaker B: But this guy was just in, you know, banging. Banging techno. Do you know what I mean? He was. He was ultrasonic and rip. You know, I mean, he was into that kind of stuff and he was trying to chat the goth up and he came out with. Here. I like a bit of goth music myself. From. You ever heard those in Color Scene? You know, that's the kind of. That's. That's that I work it for him. [00:52:26] Speaker C: But yeah, imagine it would. [00:52:28] Speaker B: No, no, it didn't work out for him. But so, so, so why would they think it was a goth bar? Just because it had. There was maybe non indie bands playing. [00:52:40] Speaker C: I. I don't know [00:52:43] Speaker B: what's popular in the sh. Is it. Is it still the. The classic bands, your Stone Roses, you. I mean, obviously Oasis came back last year as well. I'd imagine that would be a. We up ticking. People listening to Oasis. What's it Whiskey on Jerry Cinnamon. Louis Capaldi. [00:52:58] Speaker C: Everybody hates Jerry Cinnamon because. But for some reason. Well, I think all the older folk hate Jerry Cinnamon, but we. I loved them because it was like everybody was just any rap music until Jerry Cinnamon came out. And then folks started listening to guitar music again. So he was a kind of stepping stone for all their pals to start getting into Stone Roses and Cast and Oasis and all that kind of. I don't know, it's just like in a split, I think between Soundcloud techno or those kind of music. [00:53:26] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, I mean, obviously there's. Jerry obviously pissed off a lot of people, but I always hate the way that there's all these middle class bloggers that kind of. They like to kind of sort of demeanor, you know, even though there's no. Personally my thing. It's the same thing that happened when I was. A week ago, before Oasis came out, before Brit pop came out. And there's loads of brick pop bands. Some of them have actually aged really well, you know, like you're. For example, Cast. I was listening to Cast Love the Dream recently and I'm going, what a tune. [00:53:58] Speaker C: They're my favorite band. Amazing. [00:54:00] Speaker B: And. And actually I. I met one of the guys for the last. Recently he's coming on the shing. He played in the last. I can't remember his name off the top of my head. That's shocking. But. But he's got. He did the. He's got the hat trick. He played in the Lies Cast and the Coral. I think we're like an assession musician type vibe. [00:54:18] Speaker C: But. [00:54:19] Speaker B: But yeah, he had some good stories. He was. [00:54:21] Speaker C: Peter Carmel. Was it Cami. Peter's camel. [00:54:25] Speaker B: I'll tell you the name. But he's some good stories. He's got a band and he wants to come in the show and talk about it. And I was like, absolutely. Let's see what's he called. I don't know what. I've saved the Miss. I'll tell. I'll tell you on Friday. I'll tell you in Friday. But hopefully on the show soon. But yeah, it's just. It's. I mean a lot of. A lot of older people did hit Jerry, so it's not. I think Jerry Cinnamon can seem a bit contrived though, you know, I mean, when you're right. Putting on the arm figures. And I'm working class. Yeah. If you're properly. Yeah, I can see him off.
